Your Role as a Social Media Manager
As our new Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy across all platforms. Your primary focus will be on enhancing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and increasing engagement with our vibrant community through compelling and innovative content. You will work closely with our marketing team and other departments to align our online presence with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy that supports the overall marketing goals of the company.
- Create engaging and shareable content tailored to our target audience across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on metrics to measure the success of social media campaigns and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends, tools, and best practices in social media, and incorporate new ideas into our strategy.
- Collaborate with our design and content creation teams to produce eye-catching graphics, images, and videos.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and inquiries, and foster community interaction.
- Manage paid social media advertising campaigns, ensuring optimal budget allocation and performance analysis.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for engagement and brand elevation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in social media management or a similar position.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools, including but not limited to Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail.
- A creative mindset with experience in content creation and storytelling.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms and engagement strategies.
